We're two girls who met by chance... both completely dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and finding forever homes for the abused, neglected and forgotten street dogs of Puerto Rico.

Jerika works tirelessly to save, vet and find foster homes for our puppies and dogs in Puerto Rico, until they are ready to fly to the states where Sally finds them their forever homes.

Sally's love for satos began after a vacation to Rincon, Puerto Rico where she fell in love with, and adopted a mangy puppy named Monkey. That little puppy became the inspiration which fueled Safe & Sound Satos.

The rest is history.
